Discounting

Because of our reputation of providing the finest outdoor programs available to young adults, our adventures fill to capacity each summer, sometimes quite early in the spring.

We have no desire or need to sacrifice our program quality by discounting our trips.

In our 39 years conducting our exceptional programs, we have witnessed at least twelve different companies appear in the marketplace only to vanish in a short time. Most of these programs resorted to discounting and cutting quality while attempting to survive.

Scholarships

Through the generosity of many parents over the years, we have established a scholarship fund for students with financial need. Each summer, as many as thirty participants receive financial assistance ranging from $500 to $2,500.

We are deeply indebted to the many families who have generously contributed to our scholarship fund. Without their assistance, many students would not have been able to experience our life changing adventure and learning opportunities.

Our Destinations

Our adventures are the most thoroughly researched, planned and implemented opportunities available to young adults. Our Minimal Use of Sub Contractors

Because of our highly professional staff as well as our un-equaled number of federal permits (far more than any other similar appearing program), we are able to conduct our domestic adventures without having to rely heavily on sub contractors for many of our program activities. This is important because it enables us to provide the best leadership continuity and enables us to have more control over the individuals leading our students. We know of no other similar appearing program, which can offer this level of leadership continuity and control.

For those activities where sub contractors are essential, we use only those companies with the most experience and who meet our high standards of professionalism. We have been working with most of our domestic sub contractors for years, many dating to the 1970’s, which affords us unprecedented relationships and understandings concerning our programming philosophy and high standards.
