Day 1

Flying into the "mile-high city" of Denver, Co, you'll quickly meet your group leaders and the rest of your new bike-mates at the airport. Quite an exciting start to your trip, you won't believe how many other kids you'll meet from all over the country. Once we're all gathered together, we'll hit the road and head to our first campsite for the rest of the afternoon. A great night: we'll hang out, set up our tents for the first time, and enjoy our first meal together under the Colorado stars!

Days 2-3

Our first adventure will take us to the Arkansas River.  Along the bends of the river, we're sure to find thrilling rapids, dynamic scenery, and the true laid-back, "river-rat" way of life. Joined by professional rafting guides, they'll impart upon us proper paddling techniques, swift-water safety, and also bring to life some of the history of this amazing river. Then, after we dry off from our day on the river, we'll travel to Telluride to begin our first biking adventure in the famous mountain town!

Days 4-6

A jewel of a town nestled in the picturesque San Juan Mountains, Telluride greets us for our next three days of guided single track riding and rock climbing! This quaint little town and the soaring peaks that cradle it are the perfect setting for our continued fun, group bonding and leadership development. Our rides will start us off on quiet, old forest service roads and then funnel us into some fun little single-track over looking the town below. For most of our days, we'll spend the afternoon pedaling around before retiring in the evening to prepare our delicious camp dinners and hit the sack in the cool, summer mountain air under the western, star-filled sky. While we're in town we'll be pedaling past the old Tomboy mine area at 10,000 ft., past the San Miquel River, and all over anything else that this area has to offer us for a good day's ride. Before departing for Moab, we´ll take a break from the saddle and participate in some fun rock climbing on Telluride´s granite spires. This is certainly a highlight of our journey, as we learn and excel at our newfound belaying and climbing techniques under the careful instruction of our leaders and expert local guides.

Days 7-8

Entering the slickrock region of the Southwest, you'll quickly see why Moab is widely known as the mountain biking Mecca of the US: everything is ridable! A land in the high desert, shaped by water and wind, Moab is the absolutely perfect location for us at the height of our incredible Mountain Biking Adventure. Once we arrive in town, we'll be greeted by our guides who will lead us on two days of early morning rides. Taking us "off the beaten path," we'll all have a chance to really test the skills that we've picked up so far on our biking excursion. In the afternoon, when the high desert sun isn't too encouraging of biking, we'll take a break to visit the phenomenal Arches and Canyonlands National Parks before heading back to our campsites for our daily post-ride feast!

Days 9-11

We´ll make camp on the shores of a beautiful lake near the western slope of the mountains in the Rockies´ most up-and-coming mountain bike destination -- Fruita, Colorado. Here we´ll ride rolling high desert terrain on geologic benches that sit above the scenic Colorado River. Fruita offers some of the most fun group riding the world, and this destination is often a trip favorite for most everyone.  At the end of our time in Fruita we will take a break from riding a treat ourselves to a fun day of whitewater rafting on the Colorado River!

Days 12-13

The end is near as we drive to Breckenridge, Colorado for a farewell ride and a celebratory banquet. On the green, summer slopes of this famous ski resort, we´ll take a rewarding day of lift-serve riding -- relaxing and chatting while we ride the chairlifts up to new heights, and then rolling down the mountainside with our now finely-honed skills. That evening we'll check out some of the sights to be seen in Breckenridge and then sleep one last night under the western stars.

Day 14

This morning we'll head to the Denver airport bright and early! After 14 amazing days it's time to head home but luckily not with out hearts full of incredible memories and new best friends to last a lifetime.
