A Meeting to Remember

I was apprehensive of the people I was going to meet but we clicked like BAM! It was all good, and everything went well from there. Ryan broke out his Ukulele in the airport and I cried I was laughing so hard which is always a good sign.

Scuba Certification

Today we had an exciting day. Everybody woke up at 3:30 am and watched the sun rise, it was awesome! We had bagels and eggs for breakfast, and then went to complete our SCUBA certification. Everyone got certified and we went diving off the boat, it was so cool. Peter and Chris saw a spotted eagle ray, and we all saw some amazing fish. Breathing underwater is the weirdest feeling, I love it, I feel like I can go anywhere. I am so excited for tomorrow when we will go diving from the boat again!

Gone Kayaking

Today we learned how to sea kayak, it was hard but it is such an awesome feeling to glide across the water. The boys had a competition to see who could ride a wave the longest. We got to a waterfall that you can only kayak to, and got out to eat and play in the water. It is like a secret world that only we get to enter. We stood behind the waterfall and then had a delicious lunch on the beach, we earned it! Later, we kayaked back and ate another fantastic dinner at camp, I can't wait to go kayaking again tomorrow!

Sail and Snorkel

Today we woke up and played a snorkeling game. We all had to chose a fish and then find it research it underwater. When we got back to the boat we all gave presentations on our fish and awards were given to the most factual, Marika and Tory won! We went snorkeling after lunch and saw sea cucumbers and other creatures. We also saw an octopus! It was really cool and after we found a manta ray! Then we all saw dolphins and we swam with them under the boat. We took pictures jumping off the boat and swimming, then showered before dinner. It was a great day.
