Experience the Rocky Mountain West on our introductory hikes into the beautiful foothills along the eastern edge of the Rockies. Renowned for their tremendous beauty and housing abundant elk, pronghorn antelope, mule deer and moose, we'll enjoy the chance to acclimate and grow together as a team. Acclimated and ready for adventure, we'll backpack for three magical days around the amazing snow-covered peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. Here, we'll see crystal clear lakes and flower strewn alpine meadows that burst with color. Along the way we'll develop empowering backcountry skills and grow together as a team. The Rocky Mountain West is full of mesmirizing anomolies, but perhaps nothing so unique and inspiring as the largest sand dunes in North America where we'll have the chance to hike and play on the 900-foot dunes. After our invigorating day on the dunes, we'll swim in the waters of Medano Creek, and of course taking time to explore the area's unique history and geology at the Visitor Center.Whitewater Raft the Arkansas River
The fabled Arkansas River is host to some of the finest stretches of whitewater in North America. Here we'll navigate through the fun rapids of fabled Brown's Canyon and Royal Gorge. Hike a Fourteener
No journey to Colorado would be complete without the chance to hike one of the state's famous 14,000-foot peaks. This is a Colorado “must do.” We'll awake at dawn for our summit climb, reaching the summit of Mt. Yale or another famous peak with an air of jubilation and comrade build over the past two weeks. Later that afternoon, we'll visit the famous Silver City Mines. That evening, we'll celebrate our accomplishments and our adventure at our culminating end-of-trip banquet before flying home the next morning.
