In safe, stable, 2-berth, ocean-touring kayaks, we'll ply the crystal clear waters of 136-square-mile Yellowstone Lake while looking for moose, elk, bears, and wolves along the shoreline and seeing an endless array of bald eagles, osprey, and white pelicans overhead.Explore Yellowstone Park
Before departing Yellowstone National Park, we'll spend a day visiting Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and numerous thermal features bubbling from the earth.Whitewater Raft the Snake River
For a refreshing change, we'll get our first look at the amazing whitewater of the Grand Canyon of the Snake River as we raft its thrilling rapids and swim in its quiet pools.Rock Climb in the Tetons
Next we are off to the Teton Range for 2 days of rock climbing amidst these spectacular mountains. Under the direction of the world-famous Exum Mountain Guides, we'll learn basic climbing skills, then onto intermediate and advanced school with more challenging rock pitches and exhilarating rappels. After learning the necessary technical and team skills for a safe and fun time, we'll summit a magnificent granite peak. Words cannot express the sense of accomplishment you and the entire group will feel when we crest the top of the summit.Learn Whitewater Kayaking in Jackson Hole
The Snake River provides the perfect environment for 4 days of kayaking instruction. First, we'll learn to handle our boats on placid lake water, then move to the Snake River where we'll practice our new skills. By the third day we'll be polishing wet exits, kayak rolls, braces, eddying, and wave surfing. Our final day will be filled with exhilarating whitewater fun. This is an ideal beginning kayak program with a high level of individual instruction. Choose between fun, "sit atop" kayaks or the more traditional hardshell boats. It is a great opportunity to learn a new outdoor skill in a relaxing and non-competitive atmosphere. Our adventure concludes with time to explore the Wild West town of Jackson Hole followed by our traditional farewell banquet.
