If you have had a previous experience with Wilderness Ventures or with another outdoor school or program, here is your opportunity to focus on an activity you enjoy, to learn new skills, and to refine the skills you already have acquired. If you are new to wilderness travel but are athletic, rest assured that you will not have missed a beat. We start with the basics for each trip so you will catch up to the
others quickly.

What You Need to Provide

All you need to bring is a backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, hiking boots, personal clothing and lots of enthusiasm. (We offer backpack, sleeping bag and sleeping pad rentals for most programs.)
