Arrive in Seattle and Climb Mount Rainier

Taking the time to acclimatize with comfortable lodging in nearby Ashford, Washington, we'll spend a day exploring the mountain at Paradise. After settling in and orienting to the area, we'll learn basic mountaineering skills with the world famous Rainier Mountaineering Guides. After basic climb school school, we'll begin our two-day ascent. Day one will find us at 10,000 feet, setting up base camp at Camp Muir. Day two will begin in the early morning hours under the glow of headlamps. We willl rope together with our guides, secure our crampons, and begin the final and most spectacular leg of our journey. Few words can describe a sunrise at 12,000 feet, or the amazing views from Canada to California as we summit above the clouds. Returning to Ashford, we'll celebrate our accomplishments during our festive, end-of-adventure banquet.

Depart Seattle

This once-in-a-lifetime summit adventure includes all overnight accommodations at a comfortable lodge in Ashford, Washington, the night at Camp Muir, all meals, transfers and summit experience with the renowned Rainier Mountain Guides.

Just as with our high schoool age groups, this trip is designed for all beginners who yearn for an exhilarating experience in one of the most magnificent settings on our planet.
