What is included in the cost of the climb?
The climb includes all of your lodging, meals, and transportation from the time our leader meets you at the Seattle Airport to the time you are dropped off. It also includes climb school and the climb of Mt. Rainier with the world renowed Rainier Mountaineering Guides. Wilderness Ventures will also provide all of the technical gear needed for the climb.
What will I need to provide?
You will need to provide a few small personal items and clothing. Many of the items are only needed for the climb and can be rented from Whittaker Mountaineering. When you sign up for the trip we will provide you with a packing list and information on renting gear.
What kind of shape do I need to be in to climb Mt. Rainier?
Just like our high school age trips, this is designed for all beginners who are looking for an exhilarating experience. However, due to the nature of the Mt. Rainier climb any person who signs up for the climb should currently be active in order to be successful.
