Volunteer at a Community Farm and Food Bank

Work alongside local school children at Santa Fe’s community farm, then help harvest and deliver crops to a local food bank. We will gain a great feeling of accomplishment as we help serve the elderly, hungry and homeless people of New Mexico.

Discover Pueblo Life

Visit the nearby pueblo’s, including Acoma, perched high on a colorful mesa. Lend a hand with needed and much appreciated community projects from working with school children to helping restore these amazing and colorful landmarks. Our service and experiences will help us understand their amazing, fascinating and historically important cultures.

Explore Bandelier National Monument

We’ll visit this important monument of prehistoric ruins and hike through its inspiring geological formations. While visiting, we’ll help park rangers with much needed projects to restore this national treasure so that others can appreciate it more fully.

Navajo Reservation Community Service

Learning about the customs and history of the Native Americans who inhabit the region, we'll volunteer as guest of the Navajo Nation. During our stay, we'll learn about Navajo customs, contemporary and traditional culture and the people's history. As part of our immersive service project, we'll help restore traditional ceremonial buildings alongside Native Americans. Of course, we'll also take time to explore the essential wonders of the region such as the Anasazi cliff dwelling of Canyon de Chelly.

Whitewater Raft the Rio Grande

Our service program in the upper Rio Grande valley wouldn’t be complete without an opportunity to relax and have some fun on this beautiful whitewater river, which tumbles out of the snowy San Juan mountains.

Explore Historic Taos and Santa Fe

We’ll visit the historic Taos Pueblo where we’ll learn about the blending of Native American and Spanish cultures. While in Santa Fe, we’ll discover the Institute for American Indian Arts, visit the historic Plaza and other fascinating sites. We’ll celebrate our final evening with our traditional New Mexican dinner before departing Albuquerque the next morning.
