Earn 50 to 65 Hours of Community ServiceEach participant will earn 50 to 65 hours of community service on this adventure. In years past our groups have volunteered at a local Klukwan tribal house, assisted with the building of a system of trails on Mount Ripinski, helped restore native totem poles, restored a historic carousal for the SE Alaska State Fair, constructed fencing for the town of Haines and assisted with the annual volunteer firefighter's fundraising BBQ among other activities. Each year these activities will vary depending on the community's needs, but all of the service will be meaningful and necessary and Certificates of Service will be awarded at the conclusion of the trip.
